Turn !t Green Project. What is it?
On the process of this school year, the students
of the year 11th, science and technology class have decided to make
some works concerning sustainability, which is being studied in the English class.
Such themes as “ecotourism”, “alternative lifestyles” and “NGO’s” have appeared;
therefore, the students have decided to create several assignments concerning
their works, with the purpose of being discussed later on the AIESEC Make !t
Possible project. Three students collaborating with AIESEC came to our school
to include us in the previously mentioned project.
During these special lessons we learnt that the
environment is very important for the well-being of human race. It is also
important to maintain a balance between humans and nature – that’s sustainability.
If we don’t manage to preserve this sustainability, we may extinguish our own
race. In order to preserve that balance, measures must be taken, such as
reducing, reusing and recycling, managing our water and electricity usage, use public
transportations more often and to persuade others to do the same.
It is important for you to take action because
you can make the difference.
